OxTalks will soon move to the new Halo platform and will become 'Oxford Events.' There will be a need for an OxTalks freeze. This was previously planned for Friday 14th November – a new date will be shared as soon as it is available (full details will be available on the Staff Gateway).
In the meantime, the OxTalks site will remain active and events will continue to be published.

The Maison Française d’Oxford and the Rothermere American Institute are delighted to welcome the conference ‘Love and Lenses: Photographic Couples, Gender Relationships, and Transatlantic Networks in the Long Nineteenth Century.’
This conference will include two public keynotes:
Dr Carolin Görgen (online): ‘“I know what I’m doing” – Female Empowerment and Gendered Ideas of Photography in the Transatlantic Camera Club Network’ on the 12 of October 2023.
Professor Elizabeth Edwards (In-person at the RAI) ‘Bonds, Attachments and Networks: Photographies of Connection’ on the 13 of October 2023.
Both of these keynotes will be open to the public.
