OxTalks will soon move to the new Halo platform and will become 'Oxford Events.' There will be a need for an OxTalks freeze. This was previously planned for Friday 14th November – a new date will be shared as soon as it is available (full details will be available on the Staff Gateway).
In the meantime, the OxTalks site will remain active and events will continue to be published.
If staff have any questions about the Oxford Events launch, please contact halo@digital.ox.ac.uk
St Antony’s College has recently established the Margaret MacMillan North American Distinguished Visiting Lectureship.
It has been set up on a permanent basis to honour Professor Margaret MacMillan for all that she did for the College as Warden, around a subject that she is passionate about: North American Studies.
The Visiting Lectureship allows us to invite distinguished academics, historians, and authors to spend a week at St Antony’s in Trinity Term each year. The Visiting Lecturer is asked to deliver one well-publicised lecture, attend a seminar with students and, if time allows, to join an alumni event in London.
