Collection: Public Health Humantiies at St Cross

Public health affects and is defined by many dimensions of our being human that science and medicine cannot capture, as they raise questions about the relationship between health and our systems of beliefs, values, histories, and identities. To be adequately addressed, they require the different angles that the humanities disciplines can provide, ideally integrating their different perspectives. This seminar series wants to explore the way interdisciplinary dialogue within the humanities can address those types of questions.

For each seminar, there will be a talk and a commentary by two scholars from different humanities disciplines, before opening up for discussion.

You’re invited to stay for a drinks reception after each talk
