Oxford Events, the new replacement for OxTalks, will launch on 16th March. The two-week OxTalks freeze period starts on Monday 2nd March. During this time, there will be no facility to publish or edit events. The existing OxTalks site will remain available to view during this period. Once Oxford Events launches, you will need a Halo login to submit events. Full details are available on the Staff Gateway.

The Research Services REF team is holding a series of events around the University in October and November to update staff on the upcoming Research Excellence Framework assessment. They are open to academic, research and administrative staff from across the collegiate University and will cover:
* changes to the exercise for REF2021
* staff and research output eligibility
* how staff can contribute to the development of the University’s code of practice
* an opportunity to ask any questions
