On 28th November OxTalks will move to the new Halo platform and will become 'Oxford Events' (full details are available on the Staff Gateway).
There will be an OxTalks freeze beginning on Friday 14th November. This means you will need to publish any of your known events to OxTalks by then as there will be no facility to publish or edit events in that fortnight. During the freeze, all events will be migrated to the new Oxford Events site. It will still be possible to view events on OxTalks during this time.

We run monthly hybrid talks for health researchers to share their ideas, studies and results with patients and the wider public. This month we will have two talks from researchers. Lea Dib will discuss ‘Cardiovascular Disease: Number 1 killer in the world. What do we know and where are we heading?’. In the second talk Matthew Luney will talk about ‘Memory and confusion after major surgery: who will be affected and why?’.
These free talks are aimed at patients and public members, University of Oxford and Oxford Brookes staff, and students. All welcome. You do not need any specialist knowledge to join the talk, but we do ask you to book a spot. We would love for you to join us.
