On 28th November OxTalks will move to the new Halo platform and will become 'Oxford Events' (full details are available on the Staff Gateway).
There will be an OxTalks freeze beginning on Friday 14th November. This means you will need to publish any of your known events to OxTalks by then as there will be no facility to publish or edit events in that fortnight. During the freeze, all events will be migrated to the new Oxford Events site. It will still be possible to view events on OxTalks during this time.

Prof Ling-Pei Ho is Professor of Respiratory Immunology at University of Oxford and a Consultant in Respiratory Medicine, sub-specializing in interstitial lung diseases.
Her group studies the immune mechanisms underlying lung injury, progressive lung fibrosis and aberrant alveolar regeneration, with a disease-centric focus (idiopathic
pulmonary fibrosis and fibrotic sarcoidosis). During the COVID pandemic much of her work was pivoted to understanding the immune drivers of severe lung injury and testing of new therapeutics to
improve outcome from COVID pneumonitis. The talk will describe the application of single cell imaging mass cytometry for the lungs, development of spatial analytical methods, and uncovering of immune cell organisation in lungs from patients with severe COVID pneumonitis.
