On 28th November OxTalks will move to the new Halo platform and will become 'Oxford Events' (full details are available on the Staff Gateway).
There will be an OxTalks freeze beginning on Friday 14th November. This means you will need to publish any of your known events to OxTalks by then as there will be no facility to publish or edit events in that fortnight. During the freeze, all events will be migrated to the new Oxford Events site. It will still be possible to view events on OxTalks during this time.

The Medical Sciences DPhil Day is a student-organised symposium which showcases the varied and excellent biomedical and clinical DPhil research being carried out within the Medical Sciences Division at Oxford.
The DPhil Day is an excellent opportunity to share your work and practice your presentation skills to an audience of your peers. Prizes will be awarded for the best posters and short talks.
We encourage everyone to submit abstracts on their work for presentation at the DPhil Day. Last year all applicants who wanted to were able to present a poster. Furthermore there will also be an opportunity to give a short talk (10 minutes + questions).
Prizes will be awarded for the best posters and best talks. We’re looking for postdocs who would be interested in judging this. If you’re interested please email medscidphilday@gmail.com
If you would like to present your work please send a 200 word abstract to medscidphilday@gmail.com by the 11th of June. Please let us know in your email whether your abstract is for a poster or talk.
Posters should be A0 or smaller.
