Oxford Events, the new replacement for OxTalks, will launch on 16th March. The two-week OxTalks freeze period starts on Monday 2nd March. During this time, there will be no facility to publish or edit events. The existing OxTalks site will remain available to view during this period. Once Oxford Events launches, you will need a Halo login to submit events. Full details are available on the Staff Gateway.
The University of Oxford’s Medical Sciences Division invites you to celebrate Black History Month 2021 with a talk by Patrick Vernon OBE – social commentator, campaigner, and cultural historian – as he considers healthcare inequalities through the lens of Black British history.
This talk will be followed by a Q&A hosted by Dr Fadi Issa (University of Oxford, Nuffield Department of Surgical Sciences). This event is sponsored by the NIHR Oxford Biomedical Research Centre.
