A two-week publishing freeze is expected in early Hilary to allow all events to be migrated to the new platform. During this period, you will not be able to submit or edit events on OxTalks. Are you a medical humanities researcher and considering ‘impact’ – that is, how to shape and communicate your research to reach an audience beyond academia? This TORCH Medical Humanities lunchtime workshop will focus on research impact, considering public and policy engagement with research. Speakers will discuss their experiences with impact, how British universities assess and evaluate impact, as well as the particular challenges and opportunities of conducting ‘impactful’ research in the medical humanities, for example when working with medical researchers and practitioners.
