Oxford Events, the new replacement for OxTalks, will launch on 16th March. The two-week OxTalks freeze period starts on Monday 2nd March. During this time, there will be no facility to publish or edit events. The existing OxTalks site will remain available to view during this period. Social assistance is widely seen as an effective instrument to address poverty. This presentation asks if (1) Different social assistance interventions to support wellbeing also address climate adaptation and resilience and (2) how vulnerability analyses can contribute to more effective design of social assistance efforts in contexts of heterogeneous distributions of poverty and vulnerability.
