On 28th November OxTalks will move to the new Halo platform and will become 'Oxford Events' (full details are available on the Staff Gateway).
There will be an OxTalks freeze beginning on Friday 14th November. This means you will need to publish any of your known events to OxTalks by then as there will be no facility to publish or edit events in that fortnight. During the freeze, all events will be migrated to the new Oxford Events site. It will still be possible to view events on OxTalks during this time.

Göran Tomson is a Professor of International Health Systems Research and member of the Health Systems and Policy research group, linked to Medical Management Centre (MMC) at the Department of Learning, Informatics, Management and Ethics (LIME) at Karolinska Institutet. Since 2019, he has been a Distinguished Fellow at The George Institute.
This is a screening of a talk Göran first delivered at The George Institute for Global Health offices in Beijing, on 18 March 2019. During the talk, Tomson discusses the research to evidence gap and what evidence-informed policy-making actually is, and ways to overcome barriers and facilitators in knowledge transfer. The talk will draw on case studies and examples from his work with the WHO Secretariat of the Evidence-Informed Policy Network.
