OxTalks will soon be transitioning to Oxford Events (full details are available on the Staff Gateway). A two-week publishing freeze is expected in early Hilary to allow all events to be migrated to the new platform. During this period, you will not be able to submit or edit events on OxTalks. Are you keen to gain research experience? Do you have a research project in mind, and want to explore ways to facilitate it? This session will explore some of the reasons why research internships can be a great idea, whether you’re considering an academic career or planning to head out into the corporate world.
We’ll talk about some of the skills you can gain, and give you pointers on where to look for internship opportunities and funding. We can’t promise an exhaustive list of research internships in every field, but we hope to give you some good ideas to get you started!
