OxTalks will soon be transitioning to Oxford Events (full details are available on the Staff Gateway). A two-week publishing freeze is expected to start before the end of Hilary Term to allow all future events to be migrated to the new platform. During this period, you will not be able to submit or edit events on OxTalks. The exact freeze dates will be confirmed on the Staff Gateway and via email to identified OxTalks users.

This special symposium for Oxford Postgraduate and Early Career researchers is an opportunity to share “where you are at” in your research with our vibrant community of women’s, gender and queer historians. It is, more broadly, a day to think about the state of play in these sub-disciplines and their relationship with each other. The day will consist of various panels, poster presentations, and pre-circulated papers, which will allow attendees to consider these sub-fields of history – and their connections to other fields in the social sciences and humanities – in diverse formats.
The “in-conversation” with Peter Tatchell, which had been announced for this day, has been cancelled and will be rescheduled. Instead, the conference day will end with a concluding plenary.
If you are joining as an audience member, please register in advance on Eventbrite, here: tinyurl.com/e8vejwyn
Lunch will be provided for registered attendees.
