Oxford Events, the new replacement for OxTalks, will launch on 16th March. The two-week OxTalks freeze period starts on Monday 2nd March. During this time, there will be no facility to publish or edit events. The existing OxTalks site will remain available to view during this period. Once Oxford Events launches, you will need a Halo login to submit events. Full details are available on the Staff Gateway.
On Saturday 9 April, the British Society for the History of Mathematics will hold a meeting at The Queen’s College, Oxford, and online via MS Teams, in memory of its former president and long-standing member, Peter M Neumann OBE, mathematician and mathematician-historian.
This will be a day of talks on topics from the history of mathematics that relate to Peter’s work, or that would perhaps have interested him. Further details and registration information are available here:

Advance registration is essential, and registrations for in-person attendance will close on Thursday 24 March. However, registration for online attendance will still be possible after this date.
