Oxford Events, the new replacement for OxTalks, will launch on 16th March. The two-week OxTalks freeze period starts on Monday 2nd March. During this time, there will be no facility to publish or edit events. The existing OxTalks site will remain available to view during this period. In this session, Dr Brent Ryan will invite Dr Adam Packer, former DPAG Group Leader, to share his reflections on his career in Academia to one of the most well-known tech companies in the world: Meta. They will discuss the pros and cons of moving to industry, the opportunities it can bring, and the challenges. We want you to get the most from this session and questions will be welcome throughout.
