A two-week publishing freeze is expected in early Hilary to allow all events to be migrated to the new platform. During this period, you will not be able to submit or edit events on OxTalks. In this session, Dr Brent Ryan will invite Dr Adam Packer, former DPAG Group Leader, to share his reflections on his career in Academia to one of the most well-known tech companies in the world: Meta. They will discuss the pros and cons of moving to industry, the opportunities it can bring, and the challenges. We want you to get the most from this session and questions will be welcome throughout. If you prefer, please submit your questions in advance and we will try to cover as many as possible.
