Oxford Events, the new replacement for OxTalks, will launch on 16th March. From now until the launch of Oxford Events, new events cannot be published or edited on OxTalks while all existing records are migrated to the new platform. The existing OxTalks site will remain available to view during this period.
From 16th, Oxford Events will launch on a new website: events.ox.ac.uk, and event submissions will resume. You will need a Halo login to submit events. Full details are available on the Staff Gateway.
The Graduate Seminar in History 1685-1850 will run its annual session for undergraduate students who may wish to develop topics in eighteenth-century history. Two current undergraduates will discuss the experience and findings of their recently-completed theses, and there will be opportunities to ask questions to the speakers, and to graduates and faculty working in the field. The focus of the seminar is primarily on British History, but both papers will cover Britain’s global engagement within this period.
The meeting will take place in the Turl Yard Lecture Room, Lincoln College (ask at the college lodge for directions). Tea and coffee will be available from 4.45pm.
