Oxford Events, the new replacement for OxTalks, will launch on 16th March. The two-week OxTalks freeze period starts on Monday 2nd March. During this time, there will be no facility to publish or edit events. The existing OxTalks site will remain available to view during this period. Once Oxford Events launches, you will need a Halo login to submit events. Full details are available on the Staff Gateway.
Join us for a special evening with Ahmed Fouad Alkhatib, a Palestinian-American humanitarian activist, writer, and political analyst originally from Gaza, whose work focuses on advancing pragmatic, peace-centred Palestinian advocacy.
Alkhatib is the founder and executive director of Project Unified Assistance and a resident senior fellow at the Atlantic Council, where he leads Realign For Palestine and writes extensively on Gaza’s humanitarian and political realities. Drawing on both his lived experience, including the loss of 32 family members during the war in Gaza, and his academic background in intelligence and national security, Alkhatib advocates for non-violence, mutual recognition, and a viable two-state solution.
