Oxford Events, the new replacement for OxTalks, will launch on 16th March. The two-week OxTalks freeze period starts on Monday 2nd March. During this time, there will be no facility to publish or edit events. The existing OxTalks site will remain available to view during this period. Professor Harini Nagendra of Azim Premji University, Bengaluru, will discuss the challenges and opportunities of urban sustainability in the context of Indian cities, with focus on the forms of urban environmentalism and how equitable they might be. Prof Nagendra will speak about how environmental consciousness is shaped and made among city residents in India, community participation in urban conservation and more. OICSD Research Director Prof Radhika Khosla will moderate the discussion.
