A two-week publishing freeze is expected in early Hilary to allow all events to be migrated to the new platform. During this period, you will not be able to submit or edit events on OxTalks. François Sennesael studied Law and International Affairs at UCLouvain (Belgium) before moving to Central and Eastern Africa in 2016, where he worked for the Embassy of Belgium in Uganda and for Médecins Sans Frontières as humanitarian affairs advisor and senior advocacy manager. Moreover, he has written long-form articles on East Africa for various newspapers. He got to know the diplomatic community in Uganda, experienced the South Sudanese civil war and influenced HIV/TB policies in DRC, before coming to Oxford for an MSc in African Studies. He is currently doing a DPhil at the Department of Politics and International Affairs (DPIR).
