On 28th November OxTalks will move to the new Halo platform and will become 'Oxford Events' (full details are available on the Staff Gateway).
There will be an OxTalks freeze beginning on Friday 14th November. This means you will need to publish any of your known events to OxTalks by then as there will be no facility to publish or edit events in that fortnight. During the freeze, all events will be migrated to the new Oxford Events site. It will still be possible to view events on OxTalks during this time.

The IDEAL 2021 Virtual Congress will bring together clinicians and researchers from all over the world. We will discuss the latest research methodology and developments for evaluating new surgical interventions and medical devices in a variety of clinical specialties. The programme will include live plenary sessions, workshops, sandpit sessions and selected presentations from submitted abstracts.
When: 15 and 16 April, 14.00-18.00 CEST (UTC+2).
We invite you to send in your abstract now! Abstracts may involve studies on new surgical techniques, on research methodologies in surgical innovation, ethical aspects of innovation in surgery, research policy making and purchasing decisions.
