OxTalks will soon move to the new Halo platform and will become 'Oxford Events.' There will be a need for an OxTalks freeze. This was previously planned for Friday 14th November – a new date will be shared as soon as it is available (full details will be available on the Staff Gateway).
In the meantime, the OxTalks site will remain active and events will continue to be published.
If staff have any questions about the Oxford Events launch, please contact halo@digital.ox.ac.uk
There is now a well-established understanding that our health is largely shaped by the world around us, the conditions in which we grow, work, and live, also known as the social determinants of health. Until recently, the activities of the private sector have remained largely absent from our conceptual understanding of the drivers of health. In this seminar, we will introduce and discuss the value of a commercial determinants of health lens, and the potential implications for health and social policy.
Booking required for people outside of the Department of Social Policy and Intervention (DSPI). Please book via the registration form: forms.office.com/e/9sA8qNJz6y
The form will close at 14:00 on 12 October. DSPI Members do not need to register.
