The lecture is part of the Centre’s project on Public Health, Science and Technology in Muslim Societies

Professor Bayley is a Professor of Chemical Biology at the University of Oxford, and the Founder of Oxford Nanopore. His lecture will cover the development of Nanopore genome sequencing method and its impact on Covid-19 surveillance. It will also cover how similar biology is being used for repairing damaged organs.
