OxTalks will soon be transitioning to Oxford Events (full details are available on the Staff Gateway). A two-week publishing freeze is expected in early Hilary to allow all events to be migrated to the new platform. During this period, you will not be able to submit or edit events on OxTalks. The exact freeze dates will be confirmed as soon as possible.

The #StartedinOxford Demo Night is a celebration of the Oxford startup scene and a showcase of some of the best early stage startups in and around Oxford. Featuring a section of hand-picked startups, the #StartedinOxford Demo Night is a night you won’t want to miss!
he next #StartedinOxford Demo Night will be held in the Blackwell Hall, Weston Library, Oxford on Wednesday 14 June to showcase some of the amazing people/companies here in Oxford. This event is a truly pan-Oxford event; there will be startups, spinouts and social enterprises linked to the University of Oxford and Oxfordshire.
Come along to the event and choose your favourite startup by “investing” in them. Each attendee will be given $1,000 #StartedinOxford dollars to invest with and the startup with the most investment at the end of the evening will receive a prize!
There will be 20 hand-picked startups and spinouts in a fresher’s fair style setup, where attendees can meet each startup, and then “invest” in their favourites with #StartedinOxford dollars. If you want to get plugged into the startup community in Oxford, then the #StartedinOxford Demo Night is the place to be!
