Daniel Otzen received his MSc. in biochemistry in 1992 from Aarhus University. His PhD in protein biophysics 3 years later was based on studies in the group of Sir Alan Fersht at Cambridge University. After appointments at Novo Nordisk, Lund University and Aalborg University he was appointed Professor at iNANO, Aarhus University in 2007 where he heads a group focusing on pathological and functional amyloid.
