OxTalks will soon move to the new Halo platform and will become 'Oxford Events.' There will be a need for an OxTalks freeze. This was previously planned for Friday 14th November – a new date will be shared as soon as it is available (full details will be available on the Staff Gateway).
In the meantime, the OxTalks site will remain active and events will continue to be published.

I received a Ph.D. in biochemistry from Brandeis University and was a Helen Hay Whitney postdoctoral fellow with John Kendrew at the MRC Laboratory of Molecular Biology in Cambridge from 1967-1970. I was a faculty member in the Dept. Biological Chemistry at Harvard Medical School from1972-1986 and the Dept. Cell and Developmental Biology at the Roche Institute of Molecular Biology from 1986-1996 (Chair 1986-1992). Since 1996 I have been Professor in the Dept. Cell, Developmental, and Regenerative Biology (Chair 2000-2007) at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York City.
