Oxford Events, the new replacement for OxTalks, will launch on 16th March. The two-week OxTalks freeze period starts on Monday 2nd March. During this time, there will be no facility to publish or edit events. The existing OxTalks site will remain available to view during this period. In 2021 and 2022, comparative research was conducted on access to critical services for precarious migrants. Looking at health, education and housing, the project found various forms of collaboration between the public sector and civil society to offer help in situations otherwise characterized by hostility and exclusion. The presentation will show key results and practice examples from Cardiff, Frankfurt and Vienna.
