During this time, there will be no facility to publish or edit events. The existing OxTalks site will remain available to view during this period. Once Oxford Events launches, you will need a Halo login to submit events. Full details are available on the Staff Gateway.
The examination of tissue biopsies under a microscope remains central to cancer diagnosis and the evaluation of response to therapy. However, interpretation of tissue biopsies by pathologists remains subjective and qualitative. In response, there has been growing interest in analysing tissue images using computer programs (or algorithms) to aid in the accuracy and consistency of cancer diagnosis. Recent work from our group demonstrating the potential of state-of-the art image analysis (also known as Artificial Intelligence (AI)) of bone marrow tissue in blood cancer will be presented and discussed.
