OxTalks will soon be transitioning to Oxford Events (full details are available on the Staff Gateway). A two-week publishing freeze is expected in early Hilary to allow all events to be migrated to the new platform. During this period, you will not be able to submit or edit events on OxTalks. The exact freeze dates will be confirmed as soon as possible.

The examination of tissue biopsies under a microscope remains central to cancer diagnosis and the evaluation of response to therapy. However, interpretation of tissue biopsies by pathologists remains subjective and qualitative. In response, there has been growing interest in analysing tissue images using computer programs (or algorithms) to aid in the accuracy and consistency of cancer diagnosis. Recent work from our group demonstrating the potential of state-of-the art image analysis (also known as Artificial Intelligence (AI)) of bone marrow tissue in blood cancer will be presented and discussed.
