Catchment Management in Action: tackling soil erosion and the Evenlode Catchment Partnership. The speakers will discuss the identification of soil erosion and runoff issues and an existing partnership approach which brings people together to make positive change by reducing point and diffuse pollution.

Presentations will focus on catchment management, whilst acknowledging that off-site impacts of soil erosion and runoff are of greater social and economic concern in western Europe than on-site impacts, due to issues such as the muddy flooding of properties and the ecological impacts on watercourses, due to excessive sedimentation and associated pollutants.
