On 28th November OxTalks will move to the new Halo platform and will become 'Oxford Events' (full details are available on the Staff Gateway).
There will be an OxTalks freeze beginning on Friday 14th November. This means you will need to publish any of your known events to OxTalks by then as there will be no facility to publish or edit events in that fortnight. During the freeze, all events will be migrated to the new Oxford Events site. It will still be possible to view events on OxTalks during this time.

The Philosophical Café (Cafeneaua filosofica) is a weekly online discussion taking place on Zoom and YouTube. It is a component of the Philosophy after Dark framework, which is an invitation to dialogue, and an attempt to go beyond the format of traditional academic events, in search of new ways to bring philosophy to the general public. Join us in the debate. We invite you to follow our channel on YouTube for videos and trailers, at www.youtube.com/c/Cafeneauafilosofica.
Rob Iliffe will be talking about Newton with reference to his well-known book, Priest of Nature: The Religious Worlds of Isaac Newton (Oxford: OUP, 2017, paperback 2019), and will also discuss his latest research.
