On 28th November OxTalks will move to the new Halo platform and will become 'Oxford Events' (full details are available on the Staff Gateway).
There will be an OxTalks freeze beginning on Friday 14th November. This means you will need to publish any of your known events to OxTalks by then as there will be no facility to publish or edit events in that fortnight. During the freeze, all events will be migrated to the new Oxford Events site. It will still be possible to view events on OxTalks during this time.

Social media platforms are increasingly intertwined with work. Many early career researchers successfully enhance their career prospects by building strong social media profiles, whether to boost their options for continuing in academia or to explore pathways beyond.
In this joint Careers Service/OxRSS-hosted session our experienced speaker will cover key principles for using social media effectively and tips on how to optimise your social media presence. While focusing on Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn as the most commonly used platforms, the principles are applicable across a broad range of social media apps. Come along ready to participate!
This is an online session via Microsoft Teams.
