How to thrive, not just survive - A well-being event for working parents

You need a break. As a working parent, it’s likely the pandemic has presented struggles and you will have found yourself in the midst of the crisis, juggling work and childcare.

All parents or carers at the School, and their friends and children, are welcome to a free 45min session with leadership coach Mark McCartney at 12pm on Thursday 17 June.

Ahead of Father’s Day on 20 June, Mark, who helps dads in leadership roles to thrive at work and home, will be sharing his wealth of knowledge and answering pertinent questions.

The pandemic has seen plenty of changes to our working patterns and the session will reflect on these and give practical ideas to ensure you’re at your best at work and at home.

A Q&A will also give an opportunity to share your views and ask Mark and host Dr Joana Probert, Jane Jie Sun Career Development Fellow in Women’s Leadership, for their thoughts.

This is a must-attend event for all working parents, carers, and their colleagues.

The event, sponsored by the Professional Women’s Network, is also open to anyone across the University and you are welcome to share it with your networks.
