Oxford Events, the new replacement for OxTalks, will launch on 16th March. The two-week OxTalks freeze period starts on Monday 2nd March. During this time, there will be no facility to publish or edit events. The existing OxTalks site will remain available to view during this period. Together with Marjory Szurko (her book Sweet Slices of History(tinyurl.com/5n72nt3u), published in 2018, was shortlisted for the ‘Fortnum & Mason Debut Food Book of the Year’, tinyurl.com/29v3er43, in 2019) we will have a look at Medieval recipe books from the collection of the Bodleian Libraries, with Marjory sharing her research on medieval cooking and food writing – and maybe even a fitting treat.
