A two-week publishing freeze is expected in early Hilary to allow all events to be migrated to the new platform. During this period, you will not be able to submit or edit events on OxTalks. Major General Christopher Ghika has just finished a year as the Deputy Commander of the counter ISIS campaign in the Middle East. It is his second tour in this role, having been in Baghdad during the early days of the ISIS rising in 2014/5. He will give an overview of the campaign and how it has changed over time followed by drawing out the main features of the operation and what lessons and guidance diplomats, statesmen and leaders may take from the experience.
