Strengthen your grant and PPL applications by getting a refresher on the expected level of detail for experimental design questions and why these details are important.
This workshop covers how to construct a justification of animal numbers section for grant applications to the major UK funders as well as give advice on related PPL questions. This includes estimating experimental and breeding numbers as well as addressing points on reducing bias. We will also discuss why this renewed focus on good experimental design is important and what you can do to make sure you meet the expectations of funders and reviewers.
Another session is available on the morning of Thursday 30 June. You only need to come along to one of the offered dates, so pick the one that suits you best. We also hope to offer these regularly, so there will be future opportunities to attend.
This workshop is FREE but registration is essential, so please email chris.barkus@nc3rs.org.uk to register.
