On 28th November OxTalks will move to the new Halo platform and will become 'Oxford Events' (full details are available on the Staff Gateway).
There will be an OxTalks freeze beginning on Friday 14th November. This means you will need to publish any of your known events to OxTalks by then as there will be no facility to publish or edit events in that fortnight. During the freeze, all events will be migrated to the new Oxford Events site. It will still be possible to view events on OxTalks during this time.

A.Roger Ekirch is the author of six books and a University Distinguished Professor at Virginia Tech. His writing has been translated into ten languages. Trained in early American history at Johns Hopkins University, he has also published on the history of Western sleep. His essays have appeared in the New York Times, the Guardian, Harper’s Magazine, and the Wall Street Journal, for which he is also a regular book reviewer. The inaugural Paul Mellon Fellow at Cambridge University, he is a former Guggenheim Fellow and the recipient of four fellowships from the National Endowment for the Humanities. He serves on the board of editors of Sleep Health: The Journal of the National Sleep Foundation and is a fellow of the Society of American Historians at Columbia University.
