This project is driven by the question ‘How can curriculum designers provide better Net Zero education to the next generation?’ Funded by UKRI / NERC, NetZeroED is a collaboration between researchers from across a wide range of disciplines, practitioners, and policy makers. It is part of the Agile initiative of research ‘sprints’; distinctive, policy-oriented projects seeking to produce environmental research rapidly in response to urgent policy challenges. This presentation will introduce the sprint model and then highlight some of the challenges associated with interdisciplinary research in this context. It will explore the methods of; critical interdisciplinary discussion of teaching resources, lesson observations, and interviews with teachers.
