Oxford Events, the new replacement for OxTalks, will launch on 16th March. The two-week OxTalks freeze period starts on Monday 2nd March. During this time, there will be no facility to publish or edit events. The existing OxTalks site will remain available to view during this period. Dr Asta Medisauskaite is a research fellow at UCL Medical School. Her research focuses on health issues in healthcare providers. Recent publications include studies on whether occupational distress raises the risk of alcohol use, binge-eating and ill health among medical doctors as well as the prevalence of distress among oncologists. Her talk will focus on Anxiety and Burnout in Junior Doctors.
The talk will take place in the Magdalen Summer Common Room from 6-7pm Thursday, 7th November (4th week) with a drinks reception beforehand at 5:45pm.
