The Carlyle Lectures in the History of Political Thought 2022: The Cold War and the Canon of Liberalism

Unfortunately, we regret to inform you that restrictions at the University mean that the Carlyle lectures will not be given to the public at the Examination Schools this year, and will initially be held in-person to a limited University audience only. It is hoped that lectures may move fully in-person later in the series if circumstances allow and we ask that you regularly check the website for updates about this.

Individual recordings of the lectures will be made available on the website every Wednesday (after the lecture has been recorded on the scheduled date).

The lectures are given by Samuel Moyn who is Henry R Luce Professor of Jurisprudence at Yale University.
