A two-week publishing freeze is expected to start before the end of Hilary Term to allow all future events to be migrated to the new platform. Richard Rorty (1931-2007) was an influential American philosopher and political thinker whose ideas have witnessed a resurgence of interest in recent years. This weekly seminar will cover some of his most major works, with a special emphasis on the theme of utopia. Everyone from any discipline is welcome.
