In this workshop you will be introduced to the principles underpinning the conduct of literature searches for systematic reviews and evidence syntheses. We will look at how to formulate a search strategy to address research questions; applying methodological search filters to restrict by study type; choosing appropriate databases and search engines; searching for grey literature and ongoing studies; documenting and reporting your search; storing and managing references.
