Oxford Events, the new replacement for OxTalks, will launch on 16th March. The two-week OxTalks freeze period starts on Monday 2nd March. During this time, there will be no facility to publish or edit events. The existing OxTalks site will remain available to view during this period. This term’s Public Seminar Series will cover a range of current and pressing issues in education including high stakes assessments, trust in science education, gender, and public service in rural areas.
There will be a host of prominent internal and external speakers presenting starting on the 16th Jan with Ofsted’s Chief Inspector Amanda Spielman . Her talk is entitled ‘The use of research evidence in education policy and practice: a view from the Chief Inspector’.
