OxTalks will soon move to the new Halo platform and will become 'Oxford Events.' There will be a need for an OxTalks freeze. This was previously planned for Friday 14th November – a new date will be shared as soon as it is available (full details will be available on the Staff Gateway).
In the meantime, the OxTalks site will remain active and events will continue to be published.
If staff have any questions about the Oxford Events launch, please contact halo@digital.ox.ac.uk
Overview:
Climate change poses a significant and multifaceted threat to public health, with far-reaching impacts that are increasingly evident across the globe. From extreme weather events leading to injuries and fatalities to shifts in infectious disease patterns and compromised air and water quality, the effects of climate change on human health are profound. The Oxford Global Health Society is thrilled to invite you to its inaugural conference which will focus on the intersection of climate change and health.
Who is the event for:
This conference aims to bring together staff and students at the University of Oxford, along with experts and practitioners across the United Kingdom to engage in meaningful discussions, share insights, and explore innovative solutions. We anticipate that the conference will inspire, educate, and empower participants to become advocates for climate-resilient health systems and champions for a healthier, more sustainable future.
