On 28th November OxTalks will move to the new Halo platform and will become 'Oxford Events' (full details are available on the Staff Gateway).
There will be an OxTalks freeze beginning on Friday 14th November. This means you will need to publish any of your known events to OxTalks by then as there will be no facility to publish or edit events in that fortnight. During the freeze, all events will be migrated to the new Oxford Events site. It will still be possible to view events on OxTalks during this time.

Ali Maisam Nazary is the Head of Foreign Relations of the National Resistance Front of Afghanistan (NRF), assuming the position after the establishment of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in 2021. The NRF, also known as the Second Resistance, is a military alliance of former Northern Alliance members and other anti-Taliban fighters loyal to the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan. Before assuming this position, Mr Nazary worked as a liaison between various resistance groups and international organizations, facilitating aid and support to those fighting against the Taliban. Our event will focus on the state of Afghanistan under Taliban rule and Mr Nazary’s views on Western-Afghan relations post-2021. We look forward to hearing from one of the figures at the forefront of resistance to Taliban rule.
