During this time, there will be no facility to publish or edit events. The existing OxTalks site will remain available to view during this period. It explores policy discussions at the United Nations and assesses their impacts on global economic stability and international relations. Key questions include the formulation of these policies, their international influence, and the identification of key allies and opponents. Objectives encompass a detailed examination of these policies, their impact on international economic trends and political dynamics, and fieldwork observations, including an initial visit to the UN Climate Change negotiations in Germany. At this early stage, the research aims to provide preliminary insights into the current situation and its implications for the international economy and geopolitics, amid rising global demand for non-renewable resources and growing concerns over energy security and sustainability.
