Oxford Events, the new replacement for OxTalks, will launch on 16th March. The two-week OxTalks freeze period starts on Monday 2nd March. During this time, there will be no facility to publish or edit events. The existing OxTalks site will remain available to view during this period. This informal reading group will explore queer and trans themes in medieval texts—as well as the modern texts that draw inspiration from them. In Michaelmas, we’ll be thinking about how modern writers and artists have reimagined medieval queerness and transness, putting them in dialogue with some of the texts we explored in 2022-2023.
