Oxford Events, the new replacement for OxTalks, will launch on 16th March. The two-week OxTalks freeze period starts on Monday 2nd March. During this time, there will be no facility to publish or edit events. The existing OxTalks site will remain available to view during this period. Once Oxford Events launches, you will need a Halo login to submit events. Full details are available on the Staff Gateway.
Join us for a breakfast talk on artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML), with Dr Martin Bell and Julian Asquith from Marks & Clerk LLP.
In this talk, they will discuss the latest research in AI and ML, showcasing recent results with a focus on medical and physical sciences. They will provide an overview of how these results are achieved and explain how companies can protect their intellectual property (IP) in this area, primarily through patents.
If you’re looking to gain a better understanding of how AI works, or if you’re already using AI and want to learn how IP can protect your research from being copied by competitors and convert it into valuable IP assets, reserve your spot.
