OxTalks will soon move to the new Halo platform and will become 'Oxford Events.' There will be a need for an OxTalks freeze. This was previously planned for Friday 14th November – a new date will be shared as soon as it is available (full details will be available on the Staff Gateway).
In the meantime, the OxTalks site will remain active and events will continue to be published.
If staff have any questions about the Oxford Events launch, please contact halo@digital.ox.ac.uk
Please join us for a conversation with world-renowned climate scientist and climate change communication expert Dr. Katharine Hayhoe.
Dr. Hayhoe will speak about her new book “Saving Us: A Climate Scientist’s Case for Hope and Healing in a Divided World.” Drawing on interdisciplinary research and personal stories, she shows how small conversations can have astonishing results. Available now, Saving Us leaves us with the tools to open a dialogue with your loved ones about how we all can play a role in pushing forward for change. There will be ample time for discussion with Dr. Hayhoe after her talk.
