OxTalks will soon move to the new Halo platform and will become 'Oxford Events.' There will be a need for an OxTalks freeze. This was previously planned for Friday 14th November – a new date will be shared as soon as it is available (full details will be available on the Staff Gateway).
In the meantime, the OxTalks site will remain active and events will continue to be published.
If staff have any questions about the Oxford Events launch, please contact halo@digital.ox.ac.uk
The scientific meeting will provide the opportunity for Oxford Parkinson’s researchers and invited guests to network and meet with colleagues again face-to-face. The day will consist of talks by Oxford researchers on a wide range of topics on Parkinson’s translational work, including clinical cohort studies, biomarkers, genetics, stem cell models and animal models.
We are delighted to have secured three exciting keynote speakers: Professor Miratul Muqit, University of Dundee; Professor Sonia Gandhi, UCL; and Professor Masud Husain, University of Oxford. We will be seeking abstract submissions and poster presentations will be on display throughout the day with prizes awarded at the close of the event.
The event is free and includes refreshments throughout the day, lunch and a drinks reception. Booking is essential. Please register using the link below. The talks are due to start at 9am with registration/refreshments from 8:30am. It is due to end at 5:30pm, followed by a drinks reception.
