OxTalks will soon move to the new Halo platform and will become 'Oxford Events.' There will be a need for an OxTalks freeze. This was previously planned for Friday 14th November – a new date will be shared as soon as it is available (full details will be available on the Staff Gateway).
In the meantime, the OxTalks site will remain active and events will continue to be published.

A new initiative is taking shape across Oxford to foster a multidisciplinary approach to climate solutions: understanding, mitigating, and adapting to the complex interplay between climate and global health. Please join us for a kickoff seminar from Dr. Robbie Parks, visiting us from Columbia University, Mailman School of Public Health.
Dr. Robbie M. Parks focuses his research on large-scale multi-disciplinary quantitative research focused on climate-related exposures, public health and equity. In this seminar, Dr. Parks will present his recent, ongoing, and future work, including work on tropical cyclones, flooding, heat stress, mental health-related outcomes, incarcerated people, and disparities, from local to global in scope.
