Francine studied archaeology and anthropology at the university of Cambridge and has more than 20 years post-doctoral experience in qualitative research. She is an invited lecturer for MSD and OUCAGS and leads the qualitative research programme at the NOC, Physiotherapy Research Unit.
Francine will:
1. Explore why we should bother with qualitative research.
2. Unpick some of the qualitative research myths and “isms”.
3. Give a brief overview of key methods (with some hands-on tasks)
4. Present findings from recent studies on women’s health and child/adolescent pain.
